AVA-Tieman at The Community Transport Conference

October 3, 2014 News 0

During the month of September we attended the Community Transport Conference 2014. This year the conference was hosted at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. The purpose of the conference is to provide insight into the state of the community transport industry and the direction it is heading in.

As a bronze partner of the event we had vehicle space and a booth and exhibited our new demo commuter bus with wheelchair access. The bus has a capacity of 10 passengers, the wheelchair lift set up is a vertical split lift, enabling 2 wheelchair positions. Have a look at the gallery below for some pictures we took of this accessibility set up.

We also demonstrated some of our new Rollator Wheelie Walker products which are currently being tested and reviewed – so they are not yet for sale. The aim of these devices is to overcome a huge issue in community transport, which is the way accessibility devices collapse and store with ease in a vehicle, with an absolute minimum of fuss.

The feedback we had from our clients Nationally regarding our new and innovative vehicle and transport solutions was tremendous. We’d really like to thank the Community Transpont Organisation (http://www.cto.org.au/) for hosting the event.
